Collision Vision is a new-to-market software service that helps collision shops streamline their certification processes, train their staff on proper procedures, manage their operations, and build relationships with vendors and manufacturers.
Collision Vision engaged 3P to launch their marketing efforts, acknowledging our industry expertise exemplified through our extensive network of top collision repair partners. They wanted us to put together a plan for how to reach body shop owners with messaging relevant to their needs running a shop.
Here’s how we went about accomplishing these goals:
First we wanted to identify the ways to best target body shop owners / high-up decision makers. We needed to find which platforms these audiences frequent and where they would be likely to take in and retain information.
We identified Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, Google and Addressable Geofencing as good ways to reach this audience. These platforms grant us the ability to target by shop addresses and owner and high-end technician / decision maker positions.
Additionally, we are able to utilize Google and YouTube to identify users who are watching and searching for relevant industry content. We served ads to users listening to collision industry channels and podcasts (Fender Bender, Ratchet and Wrench, etc.)
The next step was putting together ads that both informed their audiences on the services offered and created a value proposition that spoke to the needs of body shops. Collision Vision had an incredibly informative video already that we made only minor tweaks to that was perfect for YouTube.

We then made other ads sets built around the service suite and the primary benefit of simplifying the certification process.

We also made another set with the tagline “Efficiency Starts Here," speaking to an inherent need of all shops: the elimination of waste.
Whether it's the elimination of wasteful spending, down time, or disorganization, the goal was to present Collision Vision as the solution to these inefficient operations.
